Melanie Carter

Melanie Carter was, and always will be, Jackson’s Mother, and she serves proudly as the President of the JMC Foundation. Melanie worked in corporate sales and marketing and currently owns and operates a Pilates studio in Rogers, Arkansas.

Angie Cox

Angie Cox is a founding member and serves as the Vice President of the JMC Foundation. She has been an educator for nearly 30 years with nearly 15 years of experience in higher education. Jackson was her beloved nephew. Angie lives in Lexington, Kentucky.

Matt Kendall

Matt Kendall is a native of Rogers and graduate of Rogers High School. He has a passion for serving on non-profit boards and he currently serves as the treasurer of the JMC Foundation. His desire to help carry on Jackson’s legacy by providing support to those students showing kindness and innovation. Matt is currently the President and CEO of Arvest Bank Mortgage Division and Central Mortgage Company.

Brandi Joplin

Brandi Joplin is a native Arkansan and a graduate of the University of Arkansas.  She serves on the JMC Foundation Board as well as the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation Board.   Brandi is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Sam’s Cub, a division of Walmart Inc, and is a board member for the Walmart Foundation.

Matt Campbell

Matt Campbell resides in Rogers and graduated from Rogers High School in 2015, the same year as Jackson. As a current board member for the JMC Foundation, Matt strives to spread kindness in Northwest Arkansas. Matt hopes to advocate for the underprivileged and effectively serve all in Northwest Arkansas by carrying on Jackson’s great legacy. Matt is currently entering his final year at the University of Arkansas School of Law and is a part time law clerk for a local law firm.

Denise Martin

Denise Martin is a longtime friend of the Carter family. She has a passion for conservation, social justice, and all things gardening related. Currently, she serves as secretary for the Jackson McIntosh Carter Foundation. Denise and her family spent 14 years in Rogers, Arkansas before moving to Independence, Minnesota where she currently resides.

Pat Bailey

Dr. Patricia Bailey is the Emeritis, Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs at Arkansas State University Mountain Home.   Dr. Bailey served as a vice chancellor from 1995 and was named Provost in 2009 by the ASU Board of Trustees. A native of Oklahoma, Bailey holds a Doctorate of Education from the University of Arkansas, a master's degree in counseling psychology, and Bachelor’s degrees in psychology and political science. Bailey was instrumental in the design and development of the ASUMH campus and helped build the campus from the ground up.  Further, she was responsible for the development of academic programs on the newly formed campus. In addition to her position at ASUMH, Bailey devoted much of her time to community service. She was elected the first female president of Mountain Home Rotary Club.  Bailey served as the president of the Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges and the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce. She served as a member of the Baxter County Airport Commission and the South Shore Foundation.  After retirement, she was a partner in an initiative to train raising female leaders in Northwest Arkansas.  Dr. Bailey is married to attorney, Frank H Bailey.  Frank is the senior partner at the Bailey and Oliver Law Firm in Rogers, Arkansas.

Carson McCullough

Carson McCullough grew up through school, sports, and the community with Jackson Carter and family. Carson is proud to be a board member of the JMC foundation and is excited to carry on Jackson’s legacy through giving back to young adults in the Northwest Arkansas area with the same creativity, drive, and heart that Jackson had. Carson is currently located in Greensboro, NC working for Nestle Purina.

Townsend Wenzler

Townsend is a friend of the Carters. His appreciation for life and eagerness to smile are both lessons learned from his friendship with Jackson. Giving back to the community under the JMC Foundation is his goal, and people are his passion. Townsend currently resides in Rogers, AR.



Continuing Jackson's legacy of kindness and entrepreneurship by providing scholarships for NWA students, charitable giving, and community engagement.
