Melanie Carter

Melanie Carter

Melanie Carter was, and always will be, Jackson’s Mother, and she serves proudly as the President of the JMC Foundation. Melanie worked in corporate sales and marketing and currently owns and operates a Pilates studio in Rogers, Arkansas.

Angie Cox

Angie Cox is a founding member and serves as the Vice President of the JMC Foundation. She has been an educator for nearly 30 years with nearly 15 years of experience in higher education. Jackson was her beloved nephew. Angie lives in Lexington, Kentucky.

Denise Martin

Denise Martin is a longtime friend of the Carter family and a former resident of Rogers, Arkansas. She currently serves as secretary for the Jackson McIntosh Carter Foundation. The mission of the JMC foundation to spread kindness to the Northwest Arkansas community aligns with Denise's core tenet to live a life of kindness and empathy and to encourage others in their personal pursuits. She and her husband Derrick live on Bainbridge Island, Washington and enjoy exploring the trails and beaches of the Pacific Northwest.

Brandi Joplin

Brandi Joplin is a native Arkansan and a graduate of the University of Arkansas.  She serves as the Treasurer of the JMC Foundation.   Brandi is the former Chief Financial Officer for Sam's Club, a division of Walmart Inc.  Brandi is currently an Executive in Residence of Accounting at Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas.  

Townsend

Townsend Wenzler

Townsend is a friend of the Carters. His appreciation for life and eagerness to smile are both lessons learned from his friendship with Jackson. Giving back to the community under the JMC Foundation is his goal, and people are his passion. Townsend currently resides in Rogers, AR and is working with Arvest Bank.

Marsha Hudson

Marsha Hudson

Marsha Hudson, a lifelong educator, has called Rogers home for 35 years, dedicating 33 of those years to teaching in the Rogers Public School District at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. Guided by a passion for empowering young people, she is committed to honoring Jackson’s legacy by supporting students who not only show kindness to others but also dare to think creatively and pursue new ideas.

Kate Keith

Kate Keith

Kate Keith is an elementary school teacher in the Rogers Public School District - the same district that opened up the door to her friendship with Jackson Carter. She is honored to serve as a board member for the JMC Foundation and is deeply grateful for the opportunity. Kate is committed to carrying on Jackson’s legacy by teaching every child who walks through her door about the power of kindness and curiosity - qualities that Jackson displayed as a friend and classmate.

Jeb Brain

Jeb Brian

Jeb Brian was born and raised in Rogers, Arkansas and attended high school with Jackson. Jeb is pleased to be able to give back to the community that gave so much to him, while honoring Jackson's legacy along the way. He attended the University of Arkansas, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 2021. He now resides back in his hometown of Rogers, and works at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc.

Mark Hauser

Mark Hauser

Mark Hauser is a longtime friend of the Carter Family.  He is a Northwest Arkansas native and has lived in Rogers for the past 29 years.  He is currently retired after working 33 years in the financial technology industry.  Mark holds a BSBA & MBA from the University of Arkansas and has served on other non-profit boards over the past two decades.  Mark spent several years volunteering with the Rogers High School football program of which Jackson was a part.
